Backroom Saints

Backroom Saints is raw working-class protest music fronted by Scott “Matchmaker” Michaels, built for the priced out, tracked, replaced, and forgotten.

Old songs. New scars. Football, faith, fathers, freedom, rage, truth, pubs, pay packets, panic, and survival all meet here. No polish. No permission. No surrender. Just songs for the ones still standing.

Product Details
Some grounds were built for football. **Highbury became part of its mythology.** Home to Arsenal from **1913 to 2006**, Highbury was one of the most distinctive grounds in English football. The marble halls. The art deco stands. The clock. The tight pitch. The noise rolling around a stadium that felt elegant and intimidating at the same time. The **Highbury collection by Stylo Matchmakers** celebrates a ground that represented a different era of the game. Before the giant bowls. Before football became a global entertainment product. When the stadium itself had character. **FOOTBALL LIVED HERE.** ### The T-Shirt A classic unisex cotton tee with a structured fit and substantial feel. Designed to hold its shape and work equally well on its own or layered as part of a streetwear look. • 100% cotton • Sport Grey: 90% cotton, 10% polyester • Ash Grey: 99% cotton, 1% polyester • Heather colours: 50% cotton, 50% polyester • Fabric weight: 5.0–5.3 oz/yd² (170–180 g/m²) • Open-end yarn • Tubular construction • Taped neck and shoulders • Double stitching at sleeves and bottom hem Blank garments are sourced from Honduras, Nicaragua, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Bangladesh or Mexico before being finished with the Stylo Matchmakers design. ### The Story Highbury opened as Arsenal's home in 1913 and remained the club's ground until 2006. Across more than nine decades it became one of the most recognisable stadiums in world football. League titles were won there. European nights were played there. Generations of supporters walked through the same North London streets towards the same turnstiles. Highbury was compact, stylish and unmistakably Arsenal. The club moved on. The ground changed. The identity remained. **Highbury. 1913–2006.** **Football Lived Here.** ### Please Note Due to the natural properties of the fabric, the White colour option may appear slightly off-white rather than brilliant white. Natural coloured garments may also contain darker speckles within the fabric. These are an expected characteristic of the material rather than a printing defect. **STYLO MATCHMAKERS** *Football history you can wear.*
